Friday Four Fill-in

Welcome to Follow Friday Four Fill-in Fun Blog Hop Week#3

Each week, Hillary gives four statements with a blank for you us to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to her at If she uses them, she will add you as co-host to the hop!

This week’s co-host is Jen from What Would Jen Do. She submitted the last two statements:

This week’s statements:

1. I have got to be the worst _____ in the world

2. Although for the most part I love it, sometimes I wish I could just get rid of my_____

3. The best thing about where I live is ________

4. Aside from a new house, car or big vacation, the first luxury I would buy myself if I won the lottery is __________

My Answers:

1)I have to be the worse singer in the world. I can’t carry a tune in a bucket with both hands going up hill. In High School I was the musical Grease. They cut out a duet I was supposed to sing. I could act, so they wanted me for that, just not to sing. Mr. Bernie is a good singer and I wish I could sing with him. I sound like a dying cat. I don’t even sing in the shower. How sad is that?

2. Although for the most part I love it, sometimes I wish I could just get rid of my curly hair. I grew up needing to get perms! I moved to Montana and my hair started to get curly. Curly hair seems to dry out and get course more often than straight hair. On the days my hair will have a wimpy curl it drives me nuts. Either be big beautiful curls all the time or go away.

3. The best thing about where I live is Mr. Bernie. If I could move back to Minnesota and live near water I would do it in a heartbeat. Mr. Bernie is my favorite part about living in Montana. (I know, awwwww) Its pretty out here, just no water. That lack of water drives me nuts. A pond is not a lake. I don’t care how many times people tell me that.

4. Aside from a new house, car or big vacation, the first luxury I would buy myself if I won the lottery is a  purse. A weird, ugly and way to expensive purse. Perhaps one that looks like a rubix cube? A vinyl lunchbox one that says, “Take Ham To Lunch” Something tacky and ugly and something that costs way to much money.

  1. Thank you for some other informative website. The place else may just I get that kind of information written in such a perfect method? I have a venture that I am simply now running on, and I’ve been at the glance out for such info.

  2. I let at a giant sigh, and an "ahhhh" when I read your #3. That was SO sweet!

  3. Oh I am so with you on the curly hair thing!!

*sigh* – has been the bane of my life…..

    • I just wish it wouldn't get so frizzy and dry. I'm lucky, didn't have to grow up with it. Only having it later in life. I couldn't imagine going to H.S. and having to fuss with it.

  4. I can't sing either :-( If I'm in church (not often!) or a school assembly I have to just mouth the words!

You are such a mushy romantic and it's beautiful!

I'm with you on the curly hair – mind of its own, and more often than not, it wants to be a frizzball!

How about ads of vintage purses?

    • When I go to church with mom, I just mouth the words too. I suppose it looks better than me clamping my mouth shut and staring straight ahead.

Thanks for the idea out the vintage purses.

  5. I've always wanted curly hair, but I guess we always want what we don't have!

I am your newest follower from the Friday blog hop. I would love it if you could follow me back. I hope you have a happy Friday!

Also, I have my very first giveaway going on right now if you want to check it out and a chance to win The Hungry Little Caterpillar by Eric Carle Prize Pack.

  6. I love how you seem to find all the crazy purses out there! I also can't sing for anything. My Dad use to tell me the dogs howled every time I would sing. LOL! I think they where busy holding their ears down.

  7. I am also a horrid singer so I will use your answer since no one has died from my cooking yet. As for the others, there are times I wish I could get rid of my Facebook page, it is like a siren calling me when there are things I sould be doing! The best thing about living here is our friends and the lake, other than that I would say the best thing is taking vacations to a city. ;) My luxury would be to rent out one of the Seaborne ships and take all my friends on a cruise with me somewhere fun! Have a great day you two! :)

    • Think of everything you would miss if you got rid of FB. *lol* How else can you stalk people properly.

Buy a lottery ticket, I wanna go on a cruise. *lol*

  8. You know, Bernie, I grew up in a Minnesota county without a lake. That would be in Redwood County on the southwestern Minnesota prairie. Well, now it has a man-made one near Walnut Grove called Lake Laura.

I can understand why you would miss Lake Superior. But promise me you will try to see the beauty in Montana beyond Mr. Bernie.

    • Audrey, at 6am it was the first thing that popped in my mind. *lol* I do love Yellowstone, we try to go there at least once a year. Old Faithful is a sight to behold. The mountains are amazing. There are things I like about Montana, but that early in the am, he was the first thing to pop in my mind. *lol*

  9. I would LOVE to live near water! I'm most comfortable near water. But I have two cornfields instead. Joy.

You should design a purse! I like that rubix cube! Really, try it! It could be your calling!
