Meet Me on Monday

Welcome to another edition of Meet Me on Monday Blog Hop.
Hosted by Java at Never Growing Old.
It’s a fun hop and a great way to start a Monday!
Each week she asks five questions and we answer them on our blogs.
What are your answers to these questions?

1.  Caesar Salad or Garden Salad?
Garden salad. NO tomatoes.  Lots of onions, cucumbers, maybe some carrots. See those are veggies.

2.  Will you be watching the Royal Wedding on April 29th?
I’m not sure. I barely know what I’m doing tomorrow, much less towards the end of the month. My mom woke me up to watch the last Royal wedding. She told me that it was something I would only see once in my life. She loved the beautiful dress and so on.

3.  Last thing you spent lots of money on?
Our wedding in October. It was worth every penny. I would have been happy to marry him wearing a paper bag in a courthouse. However, I’m thrilled with what we did do. I have no idea what our next big purchase will be. I know we plan on going home in July for some weddings.

4.  Window seat or aisle seat?
Aisle, aisle, aisle! I’m very claustrophobic. When I sit by the window I start to get anxious at being penned it. Granted I may not walk around during the flight. However, having someone in my way makes me want to.

5.  Do you know your blood type?

Not a clue.  I have never had a burning desire to know. I think it’s so diluted with Diet Coke by now, who knows if its even a real blood type?

Mr. Bernie got home safe and sound last night.

The Things We Find Inside

  1. Love your wedding photo…ahhh Would rather watch/look at real people's weddings over celebrities at this stage in my life. I agree with some of the other comments about such a waste of money.

Your blood is diluted with Coke…and mine is wine…lol

have a great week, fondly, Roberta

  2. Yay, Mr. Bernie is home.

    1. Ceasar Salad – real bacon though please!

    2. Uh, no. Not a fan of the royals.

    3. A couch that's being delivered on Thursday – yay!

    4. Aisle for sure. I HATE to fly so the window seat just makes me more anxious.

    5. Yes, I know my blood type.

  3. I wanted to join in with one, but ran out of time – probably just as well – I'd have spent the whole post ranting about the Royal Wedding – waste of money… how come we can spend on this trash, yet have 3 million kids living in poverty in this country…political gesture…blah, blah, grizzle, grump…

Love your wedding photos though… ;-)

    • I'm glad you said something. I know in the US most folks are very enamored with the whole Royal Wedding thing. Its interesting to get the take on someone who lives over there.

  4. I prefer the aisle seat too. It makes it easier when you want to get up and stretch :)

    Have a great week!

  5. I'd have to choose both salads!

I'm a total sucker for the British royals. But I don't know when the wedding is. I remember Princess Di's wedding…

Last thing I spent lots of money on was, well, our house. It's also the most money I've ever spent. Although, I haven't fully paid for it yet. ;P

Aisle is my first choice, but window is okay, too.

Yup. I know my blood type. :)

    • With your diet I would think so.
I think the wedding is April 29th? or around there.
Yes, a house would be a big one.

  6. Lol about your blood type. Mine's diluted by Dr. Pepper and maybe a little tequila. Glad Mr. Bernie got home safely! I'd love to read about your wedding. Wedding stories are always fabulous!

  7. Tammilee says:

I am a new fan from the blog hop.

    I blog at
I hope you will stop by and visit.

  8. I am very proud of you with your #1… you are not anti veggie after all!!!

  9. Glad to know Mr Bernie is safe and sound at home. Hopefully you had Gunther tucked away before that. Gad-I'm still having nightmares LOL. I've got to write myself a note and join Meet me on Monday next Monday – I keep forgetting. I'm a big Diet Coke fan too, I was going to stop the caffine but think I'm going to attack the carbs first – a body has to have at least one vice ?

    • I left Gunther in the bathroom. I didn't feel like dragging him around anymore. Mr. Bernie went to use the guest bath, saw Gunther and just went to use our bathroom. Didn't say a word. Is that bad that would not even phase him?

  10. Lol your comment about the Diet coke cracked me up. I am pretty sure mine is diluted with Dr. Pepper :-)

Hope you have a good Monday.

  11. LOL, we used the same invite picture. I think everyone was thrilled with your fun wedding!!! Best Halloween EVER!
