Wordless Wednesday

I must admit this ad caught me off guard.
It never occurred to me that the boxes would be wrapped.
You know some kid found his wrapped box and was so disappointed!

  8. Ok, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the "new" shaped box, just the "old" shaped box on its side? Ohhhh you gotta love marketing! ;)

  13. With this ad, the secret's out. Everyone will know what's in that plainly-wrapped package. Oh, no! How embarrassing.

  15. How the times have changed! And thank goodness for that!!! The wrapping part would probably more applicable to sex toys purchases these days, but I guess during those times… who knows? LOL

    Oh, and the part where it said, "Regular, Junior, and Super sizes," somehow sounded a bit alarming…

  16. Disappointed or confused!
    It's amazing how far things have come. isn't it? Do you recall that commercial for razors recently where the bushes change shape to the lady's …bush, when she walks past? Even that one shocked & embarrassed me! LOL (Try seeing that with your 13 y.o. son sitting next to you, with a questioning lookk!)

    • I must admit I have not seen that ad. I might have to look for it on YouTube. I think I would pass on watching it with a 13yr old boy. Ewwww.
